Carlota Silva

Carlota began her dance instruction at age 3 as a student at Fishback Studio of the Dance where she studied jazz, ballet, tap, and hip-hop. Carlota went on to coach the Valley High School Dance team, the Valley Vikettes for 6 years, leading the team to a total of 5 State Championships. Carlota is currently the choreographer for the University of New Mexico Chaparral Dance Team, and has completed numerous seminars and workshops including Dance Olympus, UDA, NDA, Showstoppers, and Cathy Roe. Carlota teaches jazz dance at Fishback Studio of the Dance, but also has many years of experience teaching traditional Latin dance such has Flamingo and Salsa.
